The room was comfy & amazing, with an un-refurbished bathroom. The place had a homelike atmosphere. The location of the hotel was marvellous and magnificent - a 10-15 minute walking distance from Grosvenor Casino Plymouth. Besides, it was right by a hill and the beautiful area:)))

We had an amazing family vacation in Gerolstein, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature. The hiking trails, with their scenic views and diverse terrain, were perfect for our outdoor adventures. We explored the enchanting forests, hiked along clear rivers, and discovered hidden treasures along the cycling routes. Our children were thrilled to spot local wildlife, from playful rabbits to graceful deer, creating lasting memories for them. We enjoyed the calmness of the area, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and the opportunity to bond as a family amidst pure nature.
For dads, it would be great if the hotel could provide more kid-friendly activities to cater to families with children.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at a lovely country hotel in Gerolstein. The hotel's decoration was charming and had a cozy feel, reminiscent of a traditional German home. The general areas were beautifully maintained and accessible for senior people like myself. I appreciated the comfortable seating areas in the lobby and the peaceful ambiance throughout the hotel.
If I could ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have a designated area for quiet relaxation and reflection. Sometimes, the energy of the children working there could be a bit overwhelming for someone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Nestled in the rolling hills, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Tucked away in a quiet corner, guests can enjoy the serene environment and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. the well-equipped rooms and comfortable beds make for a pleasant stay. Wake up to a delightful breakfast spread, and indulge in the delectable local dishes served in the restaurant.
The hotel lacks adequate soundproofing which can be a hindrance to a good night's sleep.

We had a blast exploring the amazing nature around Gerolstein. From biking through forests and meadows to hiking on epic trails, we couldn't get enough of the pure nature and breathtaking scenery. And let's not forget about the local wildlife, spotting different animals was like playing a real-life game of Pokemon Go! It was such a cool adventure!
If there's one thing we'd ask for, it's a bit more happening nightlife for us young party-goers. We had a blast during the day, but it would have been even more awesome if there were some cool clubs or bars nearby where we could dance the night away.

The hotel provided great customer service and had a wonderful location with amazing views. the food available in the restaurant was delicious and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. the hotel amenities were top-tier, and the fact that every room had a balcony was a great touch.
The gym was very outdated and lacked a variety of equipment. the breakfast provided was not very varied and lacked milk alternatives for those with dietary restrictions.

The spacious room I had was beyond expectations! A sitting area, kitchenette, two bathrooms, and a balcony with stunning nature views! Everything was neat as a button, with abundant storage space. The staff was very welcoming and always willing to lend a hand with recommendations regarding the best hiking trails! Plus, it was pet-friendly, which made my travel more enjoyable with my furry companion.
The breakfast options were a bit over-priced. the furniture design of the room could use an update, although it was well-maintained.
